I always wondered what the point of cooking was. There are frozen eggrolls in the world, after all, so why bother? Then I got married.
It’s not like my husband expected it, far from it actually, but I suddenly wanted to start making the meals I remembered from my childhood. Sharing a meal I had prepared (that didn’t come from a box) became a way of expressing love.
I finally got it, and thus began my love affair with the art of cooking.
